The final week of the half-term contains yet more exciting events.
On Tuesday it is Safer Internet Day. We will begin the day with a whole school assembly and during the remainder of the day all classes will be looking at ways to stay safe when using the Internet.
On Thursday afternoon, three Y5 pupils will perform their poems at Witton Church Walk Primary School. Jack D., Aimee L. and Ryan Y. have been working with the poet Dominic Berry to write poems which will be painted on the hoardings around the old Memorial Hall. This performance marks the official launch of the poetry and the end of the project.
On Thursday Evening , “Rudheath’s Got Talent” takes place in the school hall. Mrs Sneyd informs me that there are many wide and varied acts. This will be a fitting way to end the half-term.
Friday is the last day of the half-term and this has been designated a “wear red day” for Valentines Day. Children are being asked to bring in £1 by FORPA to raise funds to purchase items which will enhance and support the children’s learning.
I wish you all a lovely half-term and look forward to seeing you all again on Monday 24th February.
